12^th Inter­na­tion­al Con­fer­ence on Fiber and Poly­mer Bio­tech­no­logy (IFPB 2024)

This year IFPB will focus on the top­ics of bio­tech­no­logy and enzyme tech­no­logy, where they apply to fibers and poly­mers. This event has taken place in nine coun­tries and three con­tin­ents. In this year, the con­fer­ence will take place in Uni­ver­sity of Borås, Sweden on the Novem­ber 12 – 14, 2024.

The aim of this pro­pos­al is to pro­mote sci­entif­ic, pro­fes­sion­al, and social exchange among research­ers, stu­dents, research insti­tutes, gov­ern­ment­al entit­ies and indus­tries. This inter­dis­cip­lin­ary setup will con­trib­ute to the growth and con­sol­id­a­tion of the sci­entif­ic com­munity and the tech­no­lo­gic­al devel­op­ment in these fields.

The fol­low­ing are the con­fer­ence topics:

• Enzymat­ic pro­cesses for func­tion­al­iz­a­tion of tex­tiles and fibers .
• Enzymes for sus­tain­able tex­tile, fiber, and poly­mer processes.
• Enzyme engin­eer­ing for tex­tile, fiber, and poly­mer processes.
• Biopoly­mers pro­duced by micro-organ­isms (micro­bi­al cell factories).
• Future pro­spects in tex­tile and poly­mer biotechnology.
• Indus­tri­al tex­tile, fiber, and poly­mer biotechnology.
