Research efforts into the conversion of organic residues or waste into hydrogen

Diverse research approaches have addressed the use of organic residues or waste in the production of hydrogen. Many processes center around the production of formate as a liquid organic hydrogen carrier (LOHC) and the use of metal catalysts in hydrogen production.
