Granbio, Bioflex®
The Bioflex 2G Ethanol production from Granbio is based on two proprietary sugar conversion technologies: thermomechanical biomass treatment (GreenPower+® biorefinery) or SO2/Ethanol separation of sugar streams (AVAP technology ®), followed by enzymatic hydrolysis and yeast fermentation. While diverse types of biomass can be utilized, Granbio have also developed their own proprietary, high energy cane.
