Energy Insti­tute at the Johannes Kepler University

The Energy Insti­tute at the Johannes Kepler Uni­ver­sity Linz enhances an energy sys­tem by 80 R&D pro­jects annu­ally. Such an energy sys­tem pos­it­ively influ­ences the liv­ing, eco­nom­ic and envir­on­ment­al spaces, fosters European eco­nom­ies and reduces fossil energy sources to the greatest extent. 

Based on these goals, the Energy Insti­tute aims to con­trib­ute to polit­ic­al dis­cus­sions and to do pion­eer­ing work where the ques­tions in the pro­fes­sion­al pub­lic are just emer­ging. This work is done in close cooper­a­tion with pub­lic insti­tu­tions, sci­entif­ic insti­tutes and busi­nesses, such as energy suppliers.
