FABES Forschungs-GmbH

Foun­ded in 1997, the com­pany is mainly engaged in applied research in the field of ​“Qual­ity Assur­ance of Con­sumer Products” and offers vari­ous ser­vices and spe­cif­ic con­sult­ing to the industry involved.

FABES was foun­ded by Dr. Otto Piringer, who, as the long-time head of the Product Safety and Ana­lyt­ics Depart­ment at the Fraunhofer Insti­tute IVV, has more than 30 years of exper­i­ence in the field of ​“Meas­ure­ment and the­or­et­ic­al estim­a­tion of migra­tion pro­cesses from poly­mers and oth­er matrices in con­tact media”. He was a mem­ber of the Com­mis­sion for Con­sumer Products of the Fed­er­al Insti­tute for Risk Assess­ment (BfR) in Ber­lin for 25 years.

Since its found­a­tion, the team has grown to just under 20 and has been able to suc­cess­ively expand its focus activities.

FABES Forschungs-GmbH has been cer­ti­fied in accord­ance with DIN EN ISO 17025 by the Ger­man Accred­it­a­tion Body DAkkS since 2011.
