The goal of the project “Bio2Bottle” is the development of a bio-based and biodegradable material to produce eco-friendly bottles. Throughout the project, the entire value chain is considered: from additive synthesis, to material development, to the bottles’ final use. The bottles are tested for their possible final use as innovative window detergents and liquid products in biological agriculture, such as plant growth-enhancing fertilizers. In particular, the bottles’ recyclability is experimentally investigated and assessed via different procedures.
