Enzyme Recycling in Industrial Processes Through Novel Peptide-Tags
Intention: Soluble enzymes play an essential role during the conversion of renewable raw materials, for instance during the hydrolysis of lignocellulose. A targeted reuse of biocatalysts contributes significantly to reduced process costs, as we already know from various industrial-scale processes. The project’s goal is to establish bioprocessing methods in which enzymes can be recovered and recycled.
