Gluc­oSys

Inten­tion:
Research stud­ies out­lined that con­trolling intens­ive care patients’ blood gluc­ose levels increases their prob­ab­il­ity of sur­viv­al. How­ever, a con­tinu­ous mon­it­or­ing of the blood glucose’s con­cen­tra­tion is per­son­nel intens­ive and a remedi­ation through insulin is often too slow. The part­ners of the pro­ject ​“GlukoSys” aim to devel­op an integ­rated, auto­mated assist­ant sys­tem for med­ic­al staff to bet­ter con­trol blood gluc­ose levels and to pre­dict­ively influ­ence them.
