Intention: Research studies outlined that controlling intensive care patients’ blood glucose levels increases their probability of survival. However, a continuous monitoring of the blood glucose’s concentration is personnel intensive and a remediation through insulin is often too slow. The partners of the project “GlukoSys” aim to develop an integrated, automated assistant system for medical staff to better control blood glucose levels and to predictively influence them.
