Sun­li­quid

The sun­li­quid® tech­no­logy, developed by Clari­ant, meets all require­ments regard­ing a tech­nic­al, eco­nom­ic­al, effi­cient, and innov­at­ive approach to pro­cess agri­cul­tur­al resid­ual mater­i­als into cli­mate-friendly biofuels. 

The project’s main goals are: 

  • execut­ing a detailed pro­ced­ure to identi­fy a plant’s loc­a­tion for cel­lu­lose eth­an­ol production
  • estab­lish­ing a highly effi­cient feed­stock dis­tri­bu­tion and logist­ics system
  • assign­ing loc­al farm­ers and logist­ics ser­vice pro­viders for straw sup­ply, trans­port and storage
  • imple­ment­ing a highly effi­cient and chem­ic­al-free sys­tem for the pre­treat­ment of feedstock
